Members from Tulsa Sunrise Rotary met at MSNI on a Saturday morning for a "Service Saturday"

A group of local Rotary Clubs and churches came together Monday to pack up and ship out a truck full of life-saving medical supplies to a country in need.

“It’s always a great thing when you can help someone, even when you can’t see who you’re helping,” V.J. Lively said.

But what Lively does see is a need.

“We in America take things so much for granted,” Lively said. “If you look at some of these places overseas… there are people laying on the floor… there are people laying in the dirt in some of these hospitals.”

Ukrainian TV station, Ecnpeco TV, reports that 7 tons of medical supplies valued at over 2 million dollars have arrived in Ukraine.

UKAINE TV REPORT MEDICAL SUPPLIES ARRIVE IN UKRAINE

A shipping container full of medical supplies donated by Oklahoma hospitals and clinics is on its way to Ukraine. 

Rotary Club volunteers, including some native Ukrainian and Russians, helped load the container.Hospital beds, anti-bacterial wipes, solar-powered lights, and various types of medical equipment are being loaded into a shipping container.

It is being sent to Ukraine amidst its on-going war with Russia. Rotary District 6110 Medical Supplies Network, Inc. said it sends supplies to countries who are experiencing terror.
